Ozzie, our beloved Ozzie, passed away May 7, 2008. We believe he was 10 years old, maybe a little less. This photo is one of the last moments he spent with us.
Ozzie was too big a spirit to leave us, so we are grateful he still fills our hearts...we do miss his howls, though. He would get his pack going whenever he heard a siren. We also miss his perimeter checks each day and his love of muddy water.
Ozzie, godspeed my dear dear friend. Godspeed and we will see you again!
Ah, Teddy. Teddy is our up and coming stud dog. Teddy was born 6/10/07 at Strauss Haus Shepherds. His sire is bCH PTD Sirius of Highlander and his dam is Zion's Buffy the Dragon Slayer.
Teddy was shown throughout his juvenile year and a half and won his Ju/JH/JA National and International Champion Titles through IABCA. At his firt Adult show, he has now won his Int'l/Nat'l CH titles.
Teddy is a luxurious companion. He has a higher drive than his packmates, but has a genuine sense of humor. He loves his packmates and is a very good male guardian.
Still, he loves to curl up at the base of your chair at night. He will always come to lay with you before you wake up, and is very sensitive to his humans' emotions. He is very smart (only takes once and he's learned it). Teddy is a hugger, and will lay down on the floor with you so you can put your arms around him!
Here is Rocky! He is our youngest shiloh, born on January 9th-10th 2007. His Dad is Zion's Phoenix Rising and his mom is Zion's Buffy the Dragon Slayer. Rocky has already won his first title: IABCA's JU Int'l CH.
Rocky is a very large boy, and as sweet as it gets. He loves kids and loves, ABSOLUTELY LOVES to play with little children. He is gentle and sensitive and always greets you with a toy in his mouth. His is in training to be a therapy dog, and currently loves the command "HUGS!"...he will lean up to you and then allow a full body hug.
Rocky is joyful and loves being in the house with his humans. Nothing fazes this guy
This is Gracie. She loves being outside. She is the best guardian of the flock and takes her job really serious. Her conformation is absolutely beautiful, despite her being the "ugly duckling" at her litter evaluation. Gracie will herd guests to the front door, and has distinguished herself as a real hero by saving her older packmate, Daisy. But that's another story!
